What is the definition of web design solutions?

Is the domain registration fee included in the initial design fee?

No. However if the client opts for any of our Support Levels (1-3) we settle the domain registration fee on your behalf. We will pay on your behalf the domain registration fee for one year to our domain registrar.

Subsequent annual domain renewal fees are also paid for by us, as long as you remain a client of thaibiz.com (i.e. you pay monthly fees for Support Levels).

How long does it take for my website to be online?

All website design should be completed within 2-3 weeks from the time we received all your product/service information. Database or shopping mall development may take longer, pending on the overall workload. If you opt for any of our Support Levels the domain and server registration is usually completed within 24 hours.

What information do I have to provide to the web designer?

You will have to provide all text and images. The more info we have about your product the better. You can send all info by EMS to our head office in Phuket, Thailand. Images can be in slide format or print. Text can be submitted by email, attachment (MS word.doc only or as image format a .gif or .jpg) or on disk. Please keep in mind that image quality matters. Your website is your face to the world and image quality is the key to an effective online company/product display.

Do I have access to my server?

Yes. As part of our Support Levels you have full access to your owner server. Once registration of your domain and server has been completed we immediately email you your personal user i.d. and password.

Should I submit my webpages to search engines from my end?

Pending on your support level (1-3) we either submit your pages, daily, weekly or monthly to the following search engines:

• Webcrawler
• alltheweb.com

• GoTo
• MSN
• Lycos
• DirectHit
• Altavista

For submission results to show will take a minimum 3 months. Good listings are usually the result of consistent submission over many month. Please note that we submit each page of your website. Search engines are sensitive to spamming though, i.e. excessive submission over a short period of time.

Submission coming from your end may be interpreted by search engines as spamming and can cause the deletion of your indexed pages altogether. Please note that if it becomes apparent that you also submit page from your end to the above listed search engines, we can no longer guarantee good listing results.

What about third party applications hosted on my server?

Over the years we have been contacted by a number of companies who offer third party applications which may be hosted on our clients servers. Although some of these application may support or help the client in some situations, in the long run many proved to be unreliable, some of them actually may pose a security risk.

All applications proposed to thaibiz.com, for the use on our clients servers, undergo a detailed analysis with regard to security, reliability and long term effectiveness.

thaibiz.com does not support any programs or applications where the integrity of the clients website is jeopardized. Included are applications (scripts, forms or hyperlinks) which reside on the clients server and re-direct traffic (inquiries or any form of dataflow) to database applications or payment systems which may influence the websites performance, security and overall effectiveness.

Can I reproduce the contents of my website online?

Once the client settled his/her invoice for all design/setup fees in full the client ultimately owns all content (except subscription based services).
